“The Guardian of the Forest” is an ink drawing that depicts a reindeer and a small forest elf, two figures that for me embody the essence of the fantasy worlds that have always inhabited my imagination.
When I paint scenes like this, I feel like I'm entering a secret territory: a place where animals become protectors, forest spirits walk among us, and nature has its own voice. For me, this kind of painting is an emotional refuge, an open door to a world where it's still possible to believe in the invisible, in the magical, in what accompanies us even though we can't see it.
The reindeer represents quiet strength. The elf represents intuition, curiosity, and light.
Together they create a small universe that symbolizes my relationship with the forest: a space that always gives me back peace, meaning, and a childlike sense of wonder.
This work is part of Inktober 2025 , a 31-day journey where I explored creatures, symbols, and emotions that connect with my inner world.
