What can a person's gaze tell us? Could we recognize their dreams, feelings
uncertainties?
I painted this series of portraits with a clear intention, I wanted these faces to be able to speak with their
look.
For this I used water as a medium to express myself.
They say that the eyes are the mirror of the soul. When I lived in Türkiye I learned to read them. To see in people
disappointments and desires.
My intention is related to this language of the soul. Sometimes portraits can go further and tell
stories and feelings. Something that we can all undoubtedly feel reflected in, or at least, those
people who connect with the other's gaze.
