“Heat in the Middle of the Forest” is an ink drawing born from an intimate moment:
I, sitting among trees, holding a huge mug of hot drink while nature breathes all around.
This drawing captures something very personal to me:
that moment when a simple pause—a hot sip, a silence, an inhalation of cold air—becomes an emotional refuge.
In front of the scene appears the forest house , tiny in proportion, almost as if it belonged to another dimension. It's not just a physical place: it's a symbol of protection, of roots, of an inner home. A small version of the safe world that I carry with me even when I'm far away.
I've always found a place of truth in the forest, where I can listen to myself without noise. Drawing myself there, with that cup that seems to embrace me, is like recording a ritual:
to stop, breathe, warm my soul, return to myself.
This work is part of Inktober 2025 , an ink journey where I explored personal emotions and scenes that are, in essence, small illustrated confessions.
