“Sweetness”. Oriental dance can manifest itself in different ways.

From fire, with very strong and sharp movements, to water, with more internal body movements, where everything flows and is more circular.

This painting vindicates the second example.

Where subtlety does not need much to express itself, and the dancing woman maintains her peace, her harmony with her surroundings, and simply blends into it.

Sometimes these dancers remind me of mermaids swimming under the sea, a fantastic world where everything goes slowly, without worldly worries and celebrating life.
